JERMAIN Defoe is a doubt for Spurs’ next game because of an ankle injury he collected with England.
That is according to reports today which state the striker could be missing for up to eight weeks.
The White Hart Lane man is currently hobbling around in a protective boot, after he was stretchered off against Switzerland.
As a result, Spurs boss Harry Redknapp could be without his star striker for a host of looming crunch games.
These include Inter Milan in the Champions League, and a Carling Cup tie with Arsenal.
