Tottenham Hotspur striker poised to leave for Lokomotiv Moscow

Roman Pavlyuchenko is close to completing a move to Lokomotiv Moscow.

The striker is set to ending widespread speculation about his future by leaving Spurs for a fee reported to be worth £8m, subject to personal terms being agreed and a successful medical.

It is thought Pavlyuchenko's likely departure freed up the wage bill to allow Harry Redknapp to sign Louis Saha on a short-term deal from Everton.
