In front of a crowd of almost 85,000 in Texas, the Mexicans ended their oppponents’ ten-match unbeaten run to gain a major boost ahead of this weekend’s World Cup qualifiers.

Dos Santos opened the scoring in the 23rd minute with a fine lob which surprised keeper Rafael.
