West Bromwich Albion's Youssuf Mulumbu claims to be in talks with Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United over potential move

Youssuf Mulumbu has claimed he is in talks with Spurs and Newcastle over a possible move.

The West Bromwich Albion midfielder is expected to leave The Hawthorns this summer and says his agent is talking to two clubs, who will both be playing European football next season.

“We have already started talking to teams like Newcastle and Tottenham,” Mulumbu reportedly told a French football website.

“For now, I’m leaving it all in the hands of my agent and I hope to have good surprises on my return from vacation.”

The 25-year-old former Paris St Germain played move to the Baggies in January 2009, initially on loan before making the switch permanent.
