Andre Villas-Boas used Tottenham Hotspurs' final warm up match of pre-season to cast his eye over players who are on the fringe of the first team.
In a training ground match of three 25 minute periods Spurs played two mixed teams with several players unavailble due international duty.
Brad Friedel and Carlo Cudicini had the opportunity to impress their new boss, ahead of their first game of the season against Newcastle on Saturday.
Despite chances being hard to come by, both goalkeepers put in good performances in the goalless draw, according to Tottenham Hotspur’s official website.
