Tottenham Hotspur trio Aaron Lennon, Jermaine Defoe and Kyle Walker selected in England squad for Brazil clash

Tottenham Hotspur trio Aaron Lennon, Jermaine Defoe and Kyle Walker have all been called up to the England squad for next week’s friendly against Brazil.

Lennon returned to the Three Lions squad in October after more than 18 months out of the international fold and he has retained his spot for next Wednesday’s match.

Defoe has been capped 52 times and scored 17 goals for England and he is one of four strikers named by Roy Hodgson.

Should Walker feature against the South Americans it will win his fifth cap for the Three Lions.

There is on place in the squad for Scott Parker though who played for England at the European Championships last summer.

Goalkeepers: Jack Butland, Joe Hart.

Defenders: Ashley Cole, Leighton Baines, Gary Cahill, Phil Jagielka, Glen Johnson, Joleon Lescott, Chris Smalling, Kyle Walker.

Midfielders: Frank Lampard, Michael Carrick, Tom Cleverley, Steven Gerrard, Aaron Lennon, James Milner, Leon Osman, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere.

Forwards:Wayne Rooney, Daniel Sturridge, Daniel Welbeck, Jermain Defoe.
