Tottenham Hotspur Under-21s inflict first defeat of the season on Liverpool with 1-0 victory

Tottenham's Under-21s beat Liverpool 1-0 in a result that was the Reds' first defeat of the season.

Jon Obika grabbed the only goal of the game just after quarter of an hour to end Liverpool's 14-match unbeaten run.

The 22-year-old's effort was the one bright spark in an otherwise scrappy affair as he beat two players before finishing low into the bottom corner.

Tottenham's youngsters have now won three out of their four games in the Elite Group section and are currently top of the table.
