On-loan Tottenham Hotspur winger Alex Pritchard sustained an ankle injury for Peterborough United last Saturday and has returned to White hart Lane for treatment.

Pritchard is one of the latest Spurs Academy players to be hailed as a star of the future following a string of impressive performances in the NextGen Series competition and only recently signed a two-and-a-half year deal with the Lilywhites.

The 19-year-old suffered the injury in the Posh’s 2-1 win over Leicester City and will be out of action for six weeks.
