West Ham look set to bolster their attacking options with the loan capture of Honduran striker Roger Rojas.
Rojas, 23, scored 19 times for current side Club Deportivo Olimpia last term and has continued that form this season with three goals already.
A full Honduran international with 18 caps and three goals to his name, Rojas was expected at West Ham’s Chadwell Heath training ground to undergo a medical and agree personal terms ahead of a season-long loan.
The signing of Rojas could spell the end of Ricardo Vaz Te’s stay at Upton Park, with the Portuguese forward expected to be sacrificed as Sam Allardyce endeavours to work within the constraints of financial fair play.
