Haringey Borough eased to a 5-1 win at Hullbridge Sport in the Essex Senior League on Monday.

The key point in the match came midway through the first period when Haringey scored three times in as many minutes.

Ashley Fashanu blasted home the opener from just outside the penalty area before Daniel Arisitidou struck a superb volley for the second goal.

Boro made it 3-0 when Arisitidou hit a long-range strike against the bar and Walid Matata followed up to net the rebound.

The visitors had to wait until five minutes into the second half to add another when Darrell Cox collected the ball and forced it into the net.

Aristidou sent a fine half chance just over and Rakim Richards also missed the target with a header.

Haringey’s pressure resulted in a fifth goal ten minutes from time when Neil Johnston threaded a fine through ball into Cox and he fired his effort into the corner of the net.

Hullbridge grabbed a late consolation from a 25-yard free-kick but it was still an excellent away result for Boro.
