Muswell Hill footballer Victor Bamidele Ojo was part of an amateur five-a-side team which took on a professional women's team in Brazil recently.

Ojo, who was selected along with four other players and three substitutes from 900 hopefuls, was picked by Strongbow as part of their 'EARN IT' challenge.

The team have already travelled to the Brazilian capital of Rio de Janeiro ahead of this summer's World Cup and taken on Vasco de Gama, with the result yet to be released.

The team were managed by former Bradford City boss-turned-Sky Sports pundit Chris Kamara, who was assisted by head coach Janio Cruz - a professional football coach - and TOWIE's Mark Wright.

Reflecting on the challenge, Kamara said: “It was a dream job managing the team in Rio, especially this summer when the whole nation is getting into the football spirit.

"The Brazilian ladies are top-class footballers, they’re fast, intricate, organised and have endless footballing flair, that said the team put up a great fight – I don’t want to say too much, so you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled for the winning result.”
