Tottenham are looking to add Mexican striker Javier Hernandez to their ranks with Roberto Soldado looking for a move back to his native Spain, according to Caughtoffside.com.
The 26-year-old striker appears surplus to requirements at Old Trafford and Tottenham are keen to sign the Mexican interational, with Soldado looking to return to La Liga after a disappointing debut season.
Hernandez failed to feature frequently last season and is believed to be on a list of players which new manager Louis van Gaal is looking to offload before the end of the transfer window.
Spurs head coach Mauricio Pochettino is understood to be interested in signing Hernandez, who scored 59 goals in 152 games for United, as a replacement for Soldado, should he make a move away from White Hart Lane this summer.
Pochettino is expected to scale down the Spurs squad after declaring he had inherited too many players after succeeding Tim Sherwood.
