Haringey Borough eased to a 5-0 win at Eton Manor in the Essex Senior League on Tuesday night.

It leaves the league leaders six points clear at the top of the table with 11 wins from their 12 matches.

Walid Matata added another two goals to put Boro into a commanding position after just over half an hour.

Dean Fenton added another goal in the second half when his effort went in off the post.

Matata completed the scoring as he notched his hat-trick with a cross-shot in the 62nd minute.

Boro were in ruthless form on Saturday as they thrashed Ilford 7-1 in their biggest home win of the season.

Cedric Lakole fired the hosts in front with a superb solo effort running the length of the opposition’s half to score.

Michael Osei netted an equaliser before Haringey took control.

Cox restored their lead before Fenton made it 3-1 at the break.

Matata won a penalty in the second half and converted to extend their lead.

Cox tapped in Haringey’s fifth goal before substitute Oscar Williams netted a brace.

Boro travel to Sawbridgeworth Town this weekend.
