Burnley striker Danny Ings is being targeted by Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino, according to the Daily Mirror.
The 22-year-old striker has caught the eye at Premier League new-boys Burnley this season, scoring seven times in 19 top-flight starts after recovering from a hamstring injury earlier in the season.
And the former Bournemouth hitman notched 20 league goals in just 40 starts last season as Sean Dyche's Clarets finished as Championship runners-up.
Ings' contract at Turf Moor expires at the end of June and it is expected there will be a rush to sign the Winchester-born striker on a free transfer, if he does not extend his stay with the Clarets before then.
However Spurs could outmanoeuvre the chasing pack by attempting to lure Ings to White Hart Lane with a reported £5m offer this January instead.
But Ings' goals could outweigh any financial offer in the eyes of Dyche, who sees his side a point and a place above the Premier League relegation zone.
