Tottenham Hotspur have been put on alert after West Bromwich Albion starlet Saido Berahino hinted he may leave in the summer, according to the Guardian.
The 21-year-old has scored 14 goals so far this campaign as well as earning an England call-up has said he wants to move on to “bigger things”.
Berahino is contracted with the Baggies until June 2017 and has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs, most notably Spurs and Liverpool.
“I need to stay focused on what I’m doing right now which is scoring the goals and keeping West Bromwich in the Premier League,” Berahino told Sky Sports News.
“If I can keep them in the Premier League and score as many goals as I can, I’m pretty sure the fans wouldn’t mind me pushing on and moving on to bigger things.”
