Mauricio Pochettino has a fully-fit squad to pick from for Tottenham Hotspur's visit from Swansea City this evening (7.45pm kick off) but ex-Spurs midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson is fit to feature for the Swans.

Sigurdsson scored eight times in 26 league starts for Spurs across two seasons but was never a regular under Andre Villas-Boas or Tim Sherwood.

The former Reading and Hoffenheim playmaker made 32 league appearances from the bench and a total of 83 outings in all competitions, scoring 13 times. He had been sidelined by a hamstring problem.

Pochettino could shuffle his pack as Spurs played their seventh game in 26th game and return to action following Sunday's 2-0 League Cup final defeat by Chelsea.

The Argentine made six changes from the side beaten 2-0 by Fiorentina in the Europa League for Sunday's Wembley final and could be tempted to rotate once more.

Hugo Lloris, Jan Vertonghen, Christian Eriksen, Nabil Bentaleb and Nacer Chadli were the five players to start both of Tottenham's last two fixtures.

The Swans have not earned a league point at White Hart Lane in 85 years but Garry Monk's side will fancy their chances as they make the trip to north London for Tottenham's third game in a week.

And the Welsh outfit are just a place below Spurs in the Premier League standings in eighth, though they have played a game more than Pochettino's side.

Midfielder Tom Carroll will be ineligible for the tie as he is on loan from Spurs, whilst centre-back Kyle Bartley (knee) misses out too.

There are several players in the two sides who have represented the opposing team, with backup Spurs goalkeeper Michel Vorm and left-back Ben Davies joining from Swansea in the summer.

January saw full-back Kyle Naughton switch White Hart Lane for The Liberty Stadium. Icelandic international Sigurdsson joined Tottenham in 2012 after excelling on loan at Swansea before returning to south Wales on a permanent basis last summer.

Both sets of players will wear black armbands as a mark of respect for legendary double-winning captain Dave Mackay, who passed away aged 80 on Monday.

There will also be a minute's applause prior to kick off.
