Haringey Borough need one win from their remaining three games to win the Essex Senior League title.
Boro have a commanding 11-point lead and face second-placed Bowers & Pitsea, who have one game in hand, tomorrow.
Two more victories this week have put Tom Loizou’s side on the verge of winning the league.
Haringey flew out of the traps in their 2-0 home win over Stansted on Tuesday night.
Boro opened the scoring after just three minutes when Rakim Richards fired home. The hosts doubled their lead just before the break when Anthony McDonald was brought down in the area and Dean Fenton converted the penalty.
Haringey also claimed a 1-0 victory at Newham on Saturday.
The visitors created plenty of chances and were denied by the woodwork after Lee Allen’s 25-yard strike hit the bar.
But Boro clinched a vital three points in the 81st minute when Darrell Cox scored a penalty after being pushed in the area.
