Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas is reportedly a target of Tottenham Hotspur, who will surely be in the market for a goalkeeper if Hugo Lloris leaves White Hart Lane.

The Real stopper looks set to depart to leave Los Blancos in order to make room for Manchester United’s David De Gea, and according to the Independent, Spurs could be the Spaniard’s likely destination.

That, in turn, could lead to Tottenham skipper Lloris joining Louis van Gaal’s United, though the Dutchman is thought to be keen on fellow countryman Jasper Cillessen instead.

Spanish giants Madrid are keen to move Casillas on this summer to save the cost of his contract and though Fenerbahce are interested, the 34-year-old is predicted to prefer a move to London rather than Turkey.

Casillas struggled for consistency at Madrid last season but still made 47 appearances under Carlo Ancelotti.
