Tottenham Hotspur have made a £7 Million bid for Lyon winger Clinton Njie according to reports in today’s Metro.
Njie, a Cameroon international who came through the youth ranks at Lyon, has been compared to Cristiano Ronaldo by some due to his quick play.
The 21-year-old, who can play as a winger or as a striker, made 30 appearances in Ligue 1 last season, scoring seven goals.
Mauricio Pochettino has turned to Njie after reportedly missing out on Monaco’s Yannick Ferreira Carrasco and the Metro claim that Tottenham Hotspur have now turned their attentions to the Lyon man.
