SPURS youngster Jamie O'Hara has admitted that he fired up and raring to get his teeth into the new Premier League season.
The left-sided midfielder, who won last season's Young Player of the Season award, was one of the first players back in training at Spurs Lodge.
"I was eager to get back in the end, I was a bit bored sitting at home doing nothing," the 21-year-old told the club's website.
"I actually came in a couple of weeks ago for a spell to start getting fit again.
"It's great to be back, to see all the lads and get back into the camaraderie that we built up last season.
"We're all looking forward to the season kicking-off again."
After impressing in his breakthrough season at the club, O'Hara will be keen to add to the 17 appearances he made last term.
Last season also saw the talented youngster break into the national set-up, winning two caps for the England U21 side, and over the summer he kept in contact with fellow England man and Spurs team-mate Jonathan Woodgate.
He added: "I've had a bit of banter - when Woody was on England duty, I sent him a couple of pictures of me on the beach."
