SPURS winger Aaron Lennon has expressed his optimism ahead of the forthcoming season at White Hart Lane.
The 21-year-old is in bouyant mood following his return to north London and pre-season training.
Speaking to the Tottenham website, the midfielder said: "We're all excited about the new season and it's also good to see new faces joining the club as well.
"We all knew that we'd be in for a hard pre-season, but everyone's up for it and looking forward to the coming campaign.
"It's a really strong sqaud and everyone's buzzing."
Lennon - who has been linked with a move away from Spurs this summer - will be looking to regain the form that propelled him into the England squad for the 2006 World Cup.
And the preparation starts now for the youngster. He is with the squad at a training camp in Spain this week, with the Mediterranean climate designed to test the players endurance and fitness.
Lennon added: "Now we go to Spain and that will be a real test because the climate is hotter.
"It won't be easy but we're all up for the challenge."
