THE battle for the final Europa League spot looks like it will go down to the wire.
With just three games to go, Spurs remain in the hunt for the coveted seventh position.
Four teams look to be battling it out. Three of those (Spurs, Fulham and Manchester City) all have 47 points, with West Ham United currently with their noses in front on 48.
With the Hammers facing the prospect of a tough home clash with title-chasing Liverpool this weekend, any of the chasing pack know they could claim pole position.
However, all have perhaps just as tricky encounters.
Fulham host fifth-placed Aston Villa, while City travel to Old Trafford on Sunday, and that is not going to be easy, their rivals still riding on a crest of a wave following their demolition of Arsenal in the Champions League semi-final on Tuesday night.
For the Lilywhites, a trip to Everton is almost as daunting.
The Toffees have been in great form and currently lie sixth, all a far cry from the terrible start they made to the current season.
However, Tottenham have also recovered well from their nightmare opening to the campaign.
At home, they continue to look rock solid and have not lost at White Hart Lane since the end of November. Ironically, it was Everton who beat them on that day. The latest triumph was a 1-0 win over struggling West Bromwich Albion at the weekend, Jermaine Jenas netting just before the interval.
Though results on their travels have improved in recent weeks, Spurs have still only won four away games and Everton will start as favourites.
Saturday's match at Goodison Park kicks off at 3pm.
