Victory for Spurs at Liverpool would see Harry Redknapp’s men complete a second consecutive league double over the Reds.
Tottenham overcame Kenny Dalglish’s men 4-0 at White Hart Lane earlier in the season but the north London side might be without a number of their first team stars at Anfield.
Aaron Lennon is still struggling with a hamstring problem, while Emmanuel Adebayor, Jermain Defoe and Rafael van der Vaart are also doubts.
Deadline day signing Louis Saha could be handed his Spurs debut but there will be some returning faces for the hosts as well, with Steven Gerrard included as well as Luis Suarez, who could make his first start since Boxing Day.
While considered outsiders for the title, the Tottenham challenge is still there and following Manchester City’s victory on Saturday, the visitors will want to keep up the pressure.
Liverpool however, have shown some form again of late following their defeat at Bolton, seeing off both Manchester sides in knockout competitions as well as beating Wolves last week.
A win for Spurs though would see them move ten points clear of fifth placed Newcastle, cementing their position in the Champions League places.
