Roman Pavlyuchenko insists he has no regrets over returning to his homeland and believes he improved as a player while in England.
The 30-year-old striker completed the switch from Spurs on deadline day having made just five substitute appearance in the Premier League this season.
Pavlyuchenko signed a three-and-a-half year deal with Lokomotiv Moscow and has his sights set firmly on a title bid with his new club.
“I was playing in a strong league, I enjoyed the game and I scored some important goals,” the Russian told ITAR-TASS.
“During the time I spent there, I developed as a footballer and I became more professional.
“I think all the decisions I have made during my career have been right. My decision to sign for Lokomotiv is not an exception.”
