Tottenham are leading a host of Premier League clubs in the hunt for Crystal Palace starlet Wilfried Zaha.
Arsenal and Liverpool are also keen on the 19-year-old but Spurs are the team to have sent scouts to watch the player most regularly and are believed to be ready to make a serious offer in January.
The winger scored nine goals for a struggling Crystal Palace side last season and notched a brace against Wolves on Tuesday night.
And Palace boss Dougie Freedman admits Zaha will be let go when the offer is right.
"When he's ready and when I think he's ready to go to the right club, I will tap Wilfried on the shoulder and tell him I can't help him any longer," Freedman said.
"It's a little bit different with my kids, the relationship has been there a long time.
"Wilfried can play at the top level if he continues going with his movement, he's got wonderful technique and ability. His all-round game is coming together."
It is thought Palace would want around £8m for the player which is unlikely to put off Spurs who are looking to bring in competition for established wingers Aaron Lennon and Gareth Bale.
