Noel Gallagher has admitted ripping out a piece of the floor from Abbey Road studios.
Oasis recorded their latest album, Dig Out Your Soul, at the famous studios, once used by The Beatles.
He claimed that he stole a section of the floor as a keepsake.
Gallagher, 41, told Absolute Radio: "We recorded (there) years ago and got a bit carried away. We came in the studio, turned off all the lights and played every single Beatles album back-to-back at top volume while we got hammered.
"Someone told us to turn it down, and then they told us to leave.
"I ripped up a bit of the floor though when we recorded this album here as a bit of a souvenir."
Gallagher said that he wanted each band member to do their own thing following their latest tour.
He told Christian O'Connell: "I'd like us to go off and do our own projects. It would be interesting to see what comes out. See how the four parts make up the whole."
The Gallagher brothers are expected to be beaten by Pink in the UK singles chart on Sunday. Pink's single, So What, is currently number one in the provisional chart, while Oasis's The Shock Of The Lightning is at number two.
The band's seventh studio album is being previewed on MySpace.
