After winning the toss Beddington produced a fine all round bowling and fielding display to reduce Egham to 166-9 in 55 overs. Dave Mcsherry producing a fine display of swing bowling claiming five for 27.

In reply Beddington soon made steady progress to 31-1 and Beddington collapsed to 47-7 and stared defeat in the face but spirited batting from captain Milligan 25 not out and Ryan Cummins 28 not out and overseas player Zaf Din's fighting 26 succoured the win draw.

Beddington came up against a very strong Banstead side on Saturday containing five ex- first teamers.

After winning the toss Beddo soon found the going tough as Banstead openers scored at four an over, Pratt and Reaves showing their class, Banstead declared after only 40 overs with 224-3 leaving them nearly two hours and 20 overs to bowl Beddington out.

In reply, Beddingotn soon found it tough going with four seamers of ECB premier class quickly losing opener Lester but Tibble and Clayton dug in to take it up to 50-1 when Dibble was dismissed for 20 and then losing Clayton for 23.

David Sturt with 39 gave some respectability to the Beddington score.
