Five more people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Ibrahim Ali, who was stabbed to death after a party in Tottenham.

This morning police arrested two women, aged 32 and 24, and three men, two aged 22 and a third aged 27.

All five were taken to police stations in north London and Hertfordshire where they remain in custody.

Last week five other men were arrested in connection with the stabbing. All were later released pending further investigations.

Officers investigating have said they are keeping an open mind regarding any motive.

Police were called to Stamford Close, Tottenham, off Broad Lane, just before 5am to reports of a fight on Sunday March 9.

Officers and ambulance crews attended the scene and found five men with injuries, but 20-year-old Mr Ali was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at hospital.
