Seven bailed after youth Ibrahim Ali stabbed to death in Tottenham
Seven people arrested in connection with the murder of a young man in Tottenham have been bailed until the end of the month.
The group were questioned in relation to the death of 20-year-old Ibrahim Ali, who was stabbed after a party just before 5am in Stamford Close on Sunday, March 9.
Five men, aged 20, 22, 27 and two 21-year-olds, as well as 32-year-old and 24-year-old women were held in north London police stations for questioning about the murder.
Nobody has been charged in relation to his death.
Paramedics tried to treat the former Park View Academy and Seven Sisters Primary School pupil at the scene, but he was pronounced dead after arriving at hospital.
The young man had moved to the UK in 2002 with his mother and sister to escape the violence of Somalia.
His devastated 21-year-old sister Fadumo told the Haringey Independent in the days after his death: “I know he was good person and he was very kind hearted and would always stick up for his friends.
“He was really looking forward to the future and finding a job. He had just passed his driving theory test and was excited about bringing money in to help our mother. He had a lot of hope.”
