David Lammy lit the candles of the Channukah Menorah at the house of Shmuel Davidsohn
The MP for Tottenham joined leaders of the Jewish community to celebrate the end of the festival of lights.
David Lammy lit the candles of the Chanukah Menorah at the house of Shmuel Davidsohn, in Wellington Avenue, Tottenham, yesterday afternoon.
He was joined by the Mayor of Haringey, Coucnillor Shelia Peacock and the leader of Haringey Borough Council Claire Kober.
Representatives of the religious and civic community will also be attended the event to honour the group who have been part of the local cultural fabric for over a century.
