Two men attacked in Muswell Hill on New Year's Day

Two men from Muswell Hill were taken to hospital after they were attacked on New Year’s Day.

The 22-year-old and 21-year-old where assaulted as they walked through Muswell Hill road after celebrating the New Year.

While on their way home the two men were approached by a group of six black males.

They were asked for a cigarette lighter but did not have one and at this point they were assaulted by the group.

Both men received hospital treatment for facial injuries and bruising.

Anyone with information or who witnessed the assault is asked to contact DC Robert Spearman at Haringey Police on 020 3276 3072 quoting Reference CRIS 2800020/14.
