A man wanted in connection with a serious assault in Potters Bar has been charged with attempted murder after handing himself into police.
Anthony Powell, of Tenderten Road, Tottenham, was the subject of a police manhunt following the attack on January 26, in Ashwood Road, which left a 32-year-old man with knife wounds and a fractured skull.
Officers said they wanted to speak to Mr Powell in connection with the assault, and the 28-year-old handed himself in to Hatfield Police Station on Tuesday.
He has since been charged with attempted murder and remanded in custody.
