Organisers of a picnic are hoping the event will bring their community together and make the area a better place to live.
Attractions and events including gladiator duels, a buzz wire, painting, live music and games will all be on offer at the public event in Russell Park on July 5 between 12pm and 4pm.
The picnic is being funded by the Noel Park Big Local – a £1million lottery grant over ten years from which groups can apply for donations of up to £250 for community projects.
Anyone attending the picnic, aiming to celebrate the various cultures that make up the area, is encouraged to bring their own food to share.
Organiser Sam Tomlin said: “The diversity within Noel Park is truly fantastic and we hope this event can help bring people further together for the good of the community.
“As well as having a great time, we want people to be talking about the future of the community and how this opportunity with Big Local can really benefit everyone here.”
