A Tottenham architecture student has been jailed following a knife attack in which he stabbed his victim ten times.
Anthony Powell, 29, of Tenderten Road, stabbed Calvin Kachara at his girlfriend’s home in Potters Bar in January.
Mr Kachara allegedly threatened Powell using an 8ft-long mirror as a weapon, St Albans Crown Court heard.
He suffered cuts and lacerations as a result of the attack, and is left with scarring.
Powell denied attempted murder but pleaded guilty to GBH with intent. He was jailed for five and a half years.
