The Mayor of Haringey will host a sponsored walk to raise money for charity.
The mile-long walk will take place at Bruce Castle Park on Saturday September 27.
There will also be live music, a raffle, and a secret auction, with prizes ranging from free gym membership to a French chalet trip.
The raffle proceeds and event entry fee, which is £10 per person, will go to mayoral charity Citizens Advice Bureau and children’s hospital Great Ormond Street.
Mayor of Haringey, Councillor Kaushika Amin, said: “This family event will be a great chance to get your walking shoes on while raising money for charity, and I hope to meet lots of people joining in the fun.
“Whether joining in the walk, taking part in the raffle or supporting those taking part, there will be plenty of ways to do your bit to support the important work of these two great charities.
“However much you can afford to support the work of these two important charities would be very much appreciated by me and the charities.
“Haringey Citizens Advice Bureau provides a vital lifeline to thousands of local people struggling to cope in hard times, and the money raised through my charity appeal will enable volunteers to support more residents.”
