Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy and head coach Mauricio Pochettino have held a revealing Q&A session.

The Spurs Facebook account invited people to post questions to which one or both of the men would respond with some interesting and unusual results.

When asked by Bradley Lebetkin: “If you could be any fruit, what fruit would you be and why?” Daniel Levy responded: “ A watermelon because it's thick skinned and I need that in this job!”.

Pochettino took a similar approach to the question adding: “I would be a coconut because I am tough outside, sweet inside and very healthy.”

Mr Levy was asked about his ambition for the club and stated that he wanted to make the Lilywhites “One of the most successful clubs in Europe”.

The chairman also talked about the difficulties in using the increase in TV revenue for all Premier League clubs to reduce ticket prices given the competitive environment of the league and Financial Fair Play rules.

Paul McAleavey wanted to know what happened to the plan to remain in a partially-built White Hart Lane during the construction of the Northumberland Development project.

Mr Levy said: “Construction risk and timing - potential contractors raised concerns and we do not want to add risks that could delay the opening. And the delay caused by the CPO means we need to concentrate even further on the build time programme - it's the same as when you renovate a house, you can always do it quicker if you're not living in it at the same time.”

When asked whether or not star striker Harry Kane would be staying at Tottenham Hotspur both Daniel and Mauricio responded with a resounding “yes!”.
