A MAN from Wood Green has been arrested this morning for his involvement in violent protests outside the Israeli embassy last January.
The 18-year-old man's arrest this morning comes with five others as police continue investigations into the central London demonstrations.
Protesters were marching against the Israeli invasion of the Gaza strip.
Along the route of the marches a small number of people repeatedly attacked police with metal barriers, sticks and stones.
Four shops had their windows smashed and people attacked police vehicles. One coffee shop was looted and the items inside were stolen to throw at police.
And up to 55 officers reported being injured as they policed the protests.
One officer was knocked unconscious after he was hit by a metal object.
To date, 93 people have been arrested.
