FRIENDLY rivalry will see a Tottenham housing estate bond this week as it launches its own mini-Olympics this Saturday.
Ferry Lane Housing Estate, in Tottenham Hale, will host a day of sporting competitions between residents including a street versus street tug-of-war, a cycling event and a 100-metre sprint.
And instead of throwing the discus, they will be throwing the life-jacket across the Tottenham Lock canal the estate looks over.
The day of fun has been organised by the Ferry Lane Action Group who work to strengthen the community.
