Burnt out: Harringay garage goes up in flames
A SUSPICIOUS fire at a Harringay lock-up is being investigated after the garage went up in flames on Friday night.
Three fire engines and up to 15 firefighters from Tottenham and Hornsey arrived at 10.45 to battle the blaze, in Warwick Gardens, for an hour-and-a-half.
The lock-up was badly damaged in the blaze and two cylinders were involved in the fire.
A hazard zone was set up by fire crews as a precaution because cylinders can explode when exposed to heat.
A number of people were evacuated from the nearby building but no one was injured.
