COUNCILLORS will vote at a budget-setting meeting tonight on how Haringey's council taxpayers' money will be spent.
Earlier this month, Haringey Council leader Claire Kober announced that the cabinet would propose a motion to freeze the annual fee at its current rate.
Cllr Kober said raising the tax would be a further strain on a community already suffering from unemployment and rising bills.
The leader said: "We recognise the strain that the difficult economic climate has placed on residents, and we want to do all we can to avoid adding to that."
