PARENTS of a missing girl have launched an appeal for information following the disappearance of their daughter Kimberley Adjei.

The 16-year-old, of Raynham Avenue, Edmonton, on the outskirts of Northumberland Park, was last seen on July 11, 2010, when she told her parent's she was going to a friend's barbecue in Edgware.

Later that evening, she called home using someone else's mobile stating there was no bus service and that she'd be sleeping over with the friend in Edgware.

Her parents, Seth and Gillian Adjei, have not heard from her since, and calls to her mobile are being diverted straight to voicemail.

Kimberly is 5ft 6in tall, of slim build with weaved hair.

When last seen she was wearing a black long-sleeved sweat shirt, black leggings and black plimsolls.

There is great concern for her safety and she is urged to call Missing People's Runaway Helpline on Freefone 0808 800 7070 for confidential advice and support.

Police are also investigating the disappearance.
