Passengers were evacuated from a train at Harringay station this morning after a small fire in one of the carriages.
The blaze started in the switch box of the first carriage of the First Capital Connect train at about 7.35am.
It was brought under control by firefighters within 40 minutes but the station had to be closed.
The incident caused delays to train journeys to and from central London while emergency services made the station safe and moved the carriage to the nearby Hornsey depot.
