Streets in Harringay are to be redesigned as part of a neighbourhood improvement project.
The Gardens area of Harringay has been chosen Community Streets neighbourhood improvement project which will introduce traffic calming measures, re-claim lost space and promote environmentally friendly transport.
The two year project will include meetings between people living in the area and Haringey Council officers to plan the works which will begin next year.
The project is funded by Transport for London and it is hoped it will be completed by July 2014.
The streets chosen for improvement include roads coming off Kimberley Gardens, Warwick Gardens and Stanhope Gardens.
The council said it has chosen those roads because of their proximity to Green Lanes and the enhancement will complement the upcoming improvements to the area.
