Traders to join together for clean-up of West Green Road

Shops and businesses will be coming together tomorrow to clear a road of rubbish in a bid to make it a more attractive place to visit.

Businesses along West Green Road will join with teams from Haringey Borough Council to as part of a clean-up day.

The council are calling on shops down the road to join together to help with cleaning windows, removing out of date posters and clearing rubbish from 11am tomorrow.

The event is organised by businesses and the council’s Tottenham team which is aiming to make the area a more attractive place for people to visit and shop.

West Green Road is due to receive £50,000 worth of investment soon from the council and the department for communities and local government which will be used to improve the area.
