Voters will head to the polls on May 7 and people have April 20 to sign up to the electoral roll.

Returning officer Nick Walkley said: “Tens of thousands of residents are registered to vote in both constituencies, including several thousand who have joined the electoral role since Christmas.
“Make sure you don’t end up getting left behind, register now to secure your vote on May 7.”
To register, you need is your name, address, date of birth and national insurance number.
If you have registered to vote, you should receive a polling card before Election Day telling you where to vote.
