Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris kept a clean sheet as France beat Nigeria 2-0 to reach the World Cup's last eight.

Goals from Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba and an own-goal from Joseph Yobo helped Les Bleus progress to the quarter-finals.

Didier Deschamps' side will now take on the winner of tonight's other last-16 clash between Germany and Algeria.

Nabil Bentaleb's Algeria will take on Jochiam Low's Germany in Porto Alegre this evening to contest a place in the last eight.
