Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone is set to seal a move to Sunderland, according to the Sunderland Echo.
The 26-year-old joined Spurs in 2005 from Derby but despite glimpses of brilliance, he has never really managed to establish himself as a first-team regular at White Hart Lane.
Glittering cross-field passes have too often been tempered by languid performances and Huddlestone may feel the £17m signing of Paulinho signals the end of his Tottenham career.
The fee agreed with Sunderland is at the moment unclear although the Sunderland Echo say Tottenham value their man at £5m.
